Our mission statement reminds us that this common experience brings us together into a community of faith--to proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, to grow in our spiritual understanding, and to make visible God's love and justice within and beyond our church walls.

Our Services

Rose City Park United Methodist Church offers two separate worship services on Sunday morning. Each service is unique in its treatment of worship. Classes are held for children Sunday mornings and child care is always provided during worship. However, children are also encouraged to stay and be part of the worship experience. Sunday services

9:00 a.m. - Joy In The Morning

This 50 minute praise service incorporates a worship leader, band, and singers to lead the audience through the musical portion of the service, using words projected on a screen at the front of the Sanctuary, and a Scripture reading and sermon by Pastor Tom Tate.

11 a.m. - Traditional Worship

This hour length service incorporates more traditional aspects of worship. Music is provided by choir, piano and organ and hymns are sung using the Methodist hymnal. Lay leaders help with reading of the Scripture and unison prayers.

We invite you to participate whenever and however you wish; in addition to our worship programs, we offer a wide variety of opportunities for friendly fellowship.
